According to the traditions of ECCOMAS Multibody conferences, the scientific program is structured to numerous minisymposia on major and challenging pre-defined topics, organized by well-recognized scientists.

Multibody dynamics plays a central role in the modelling, analysis, simulation and optimization of mechanical systems with a large variety of engineering applications. The ECCOMAS Thematic Conference on Multibody Dynamics is one of the most widely known multibody conferences, which always takes place in Europe. The forthcoming conference in Budapest will be the 10th in a successful series of meetings held in Lisbon (2003), Madrid (2005), Milan (2007), Warsaw (2009), Brussels (2011), Zagreb (2013), Barcelona (2015), Prague (2017), Duisburg (2019). The conference serves as an opportunity for researchers worldwide to exchange ideas in multibody dynamics concerning theoretical aspects, computational approaches, and also in applied research such as vehicle dynamics, robotics, mechatronics, biomechanics or controlled multibody systems. The conference provides an excellent platform for sharing novel ideas within the continuously growing multibody research community.

Conference Topics

All aspects of multibody dynamics are in focus; however, papers are particularly welcome on the following topics:

Authors are invited to submit individual contributions related to any of the Conference Topics. Submissions and conference registration have to be performed electronically.
